The EU has long held good relations with the 78 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries. The Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) are used as developing instruments to boost intra-African trade, which immensely helps those countries, speeds up their #economies and integrates them into the global economy, but they could also be used as an instrument to address new challenges, such as environment, climate change, terrorism and migration. ACP countries have further room for development and improvement, but to do that we need to strengthen the political dialogue and advance towards a new unique framework with regional agreements that are tailored to specific regional needs and to the mutual interests existing between the EU and ACP countries
